When buying a new home in San Antonio the primary concern is TERMITES... and specifically subterranean termites. Your lender will want you to have a Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) inspection preformed on the house you are wanting to buy for both your protection and theirs. Other wood destroying insects may include carpenter ants, wood bees, wood boring beetles and even formosan termites.
AMERICA'S BEST will inspect for all of the above, in addition to noting conditions (called conducives) that could attract and even invite these undesirables from infesting your home. As purchaser of this service you will be provided the Official Wood Destroying Insect Report (WDI) as designated by the Texas Department of Agriculture Structural Pest Control Service which oversees the Licensing and Standards for Inspections and Pest Control here in the state of Texas.
All reporting by AMERICA'S BEST is now preformed electronically via email through the internet. These reports are generally sent to the Purchaser of the service, their Agent and the designated Title Company being used.
Payment for services is generally rendered at the time of the inspection and may range from $85.00 for homes on slabs and $100 for pier and beam houses. Inspections beyond the San Antonio city limits require a travel fee of $25.
AMERICA'S BEST is Licensed by the TEXAS STRUCTURAL PEST CONTROL BOARD and is an Affiliate member of the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR).
